About

Jonathan Gregg

I'm a counselor in active clinical practice and the founder of Noesis Dynamics. I came to this work in my 40s — after a career in something else entirely, after losing someone, after a long stretch of trying to find a therapist who fit and not finding one. The short version is: I eventually became one.

I run a community mental health practice. I see clients every week. I supervise interns. The simulator we build at Noesis Dynamics is the tool I wish I'd had when I was the one walking into a room unprepared for what was about to land in it.

Why I write here

The product's blog is for the work — what we're learning, what the data is telling us, what we're building next. This blog is for the parts that don't fit there. Loss. Doubt. Becoming. The Tuesday afternoons when a session goes sideways and you sit in your car afterward thinking about it for an hour.

If you're a clinician-in-training: I write here for you, mostly. What we don't teach in class. What the room teaches you instead. How to keep showing up to a job that asks you to feel things you wouldn't choose to feel.

If you're a clinic owner or program director: I write here for you too — but with the caveat that the scaling work and the clinical work are different jobs, and I try not to confuse them. The scaling-work voice lives at our main blog.

How to reach me

I read everything sent to jonathan@noesisdynamics.com. Replies come slowly because clients come first, but they come.

For the work itself — booking a demo, asking about clinic pilots, asking how the scoring works — the team handles those at hello@noesisdynamics.com. That's usually the faster path.
